It seems that everything in the technology field is geard towards AI now. Every day that goes by you hear more and more about AI and Large Language Models.
According to Chapter 9 of Stanfords 2026 AI Index Report, 59% of people feel that AI offers more benefits than drawbacks.

Personally, I have heard both sides opinions on it. Those that say use it, and those that say avoid it.
I understand some of the negatives of AI but Im still in favor of it. I haven’t been a heavy user but, I do use it.
Recently a tried Claude-Code and I used it to redesign this site and my other site. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it so I prompted Claude for an idea and this is what I was given.
Then I prompted Claude Code to make me a custom template and explained how I wanted it and this is the end result for now.
I really like how it looks!
Since I’m a Linux user, Claude made it look like a terminal prompt. The shane@hyprcabin at the top was the name of my old computer. I thought that was a unique touch.
Then at the bottom, the echo “Thanks for reading” is a nice goodbye.
My favorite part, is the link to the rss feed at the bottom. I didn’t even ask for this but, as someone uses rss feeds that was really cool to see.
I have used Gemini for a while now but decided to try Claude because it has the agentic counterpart, and a native Linux application. Even if it is only a TUI.
I’m really happy with the look of this new site. To think it was created by AI is pretty awesome.
I’m trying to get in the habit of posting more so hopefully this new system will encourage that.
This is only the beginning.
